Hello and welcome to Marine Operations & Firearms Consulting Group. I am Ken Hett and the proud founder of this company. 

I have been a police officer more than half of my life and have to admit that it has been a very rewarding career with zero regrets. I have had an exceptional journey throughout my career and have met some amazing people and have been humbled more times than I care to admit due to these encounters. 

I have also been blessed with the opportunity to have traveled to a wide variety of countries and have met the similar amazing people and have established the same lifelong relationships along the way.

During my path in law enforcement, I have been blessed to have been able to participate in some incredible training opportunities and along the way, have developed relationships with other agencies and its officers that will last forever. I was also fortunate enough to have had the support of my department in providing training that to be honest, is not always available to all law enforcement. 

It is largely due to this accumulation of training that guided my path to create this company. 

The goal of M.O.F.C.G. is to be able to pass on this accumulated knowledge. 

When I first started instructing various agencies (both law enforcement and non- law enforcement), I soon realized that even though there existed a common denominator of being a first responder, there were also differences within each agency’s individual needs (area of operation, equipment, task at hand). I firmly believe that there is an absolute need for “similar, standard training across the board” in order to be an effective force multiplier, but there is also a need for specific training that should be designed for each individual agency or unit. The purpose of M.O.F.C.G. is to help bridge this gap and not only provide the standard training across the board necessary for similar units to operate out of the same “play book” but also have access and be able to “fine tune” their training in regards to what suits the unit best for optimal performance. 

…and the name of the company, “Consulting Group”, is just that; 

Throughout my travels and experiences, I have been extremely fortunate to have come into contact with many skilled individuals with an array of talent that also bring a vast amount of experience to the table as well.
